The price you pay is set by the partner and is not affected by the click coming from us. We do not hold inventory, we do not run tours, and we do not vet individual listings. The list below is exhaustive: these are the partners we work with.

1. The plain version

When you click "Check rates on Booking.com" or "Compare GetYourGuide tours" anywhere on Morocco.so or the journal at morocco.so/blog, you leave our site and land on the partner. If you book something during that session (or within the partner's cookie window, typically 30 to 90 days), the partner pays Morocco.so a commission. This commission is paid out of the partner's margin, not added to your price. The cost is identical to what you would pay if you typed the partner's URL directly into your browser.

2. The partners we work with

Booking.com

Hotels, riads, villas, apartments and hostels across all 46 Morocco destinations.

GetYourGuide

Day tours, multi-day desert routes, food walks, cooking classes and tickets.

Viator

Tour catalogue overlap with GetYourGuide. We show the better option per route.

Skyscanner

Flight comparison across most airlines flying into Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir, Fès, Rabat.

DiscoverCars

Car rental aggregator covering the major hire desks at Moroccan airports.

Airalo

Prepaid Morocco eSIM data plans, instant install.

SafetyWing

Travel medical insurance, long-stay friendly.

Allianz Travel & AXA Partners

Trip insurance with cancellation cover, single-trip and annual.

Travelpayouts

Network handling the back-office commission tracking for several of the above.

3. What this changes about our recommendations

The commission is paid on the same percentage regardless of which Booking.com riad you pick, which GetYourGuide tour you book, which Skyscanner result you click. We do not get more for sending you to a $400 a night hotel than a $70 a night riad. We have no incentive to push you upmarket, and no incentive to push specific partners over others within the same category.

What we are incentivised to do: write content people actually use, send well-informed clicks that convert at the partner. A bad recommendation that pushes a thin riad gets bad reviews on Booking.com, fewer bookings, less commission. Aligned incentives, mostly.

4. What we do not promise (and why)

5. How we pick what to feature

Within each service we list the partners with the best Morocco-specific coverage. Some categories have one obvious winner (Airalo for eSIM, DiscoverCars for car rental). Others have two or three roughly equivalent options (stays, tours) and we link to both so you can compare. The journal articles surface specific named items (a specific Mouassine riad, a specific Sahara route) when they cross the bar of recency, review depth and owner responsiveness. The bar is documented in each article so you can apply it yourself.

6. Updates to this disclosure

When we add a new partner category (for example a transport service or a co-working membership), we update this page within a week. The "last updated" date at the top is the authoritative version date.
